Gemma Carné has joined Ypsilon Licensing

The new country manager for Spain and Portugal will manage the licensing operations

Gemma Carné has joined Ypsilon Licensing as Country Manager Spain and Portugal. From her position, Gemma manages the day by day operations overseeing the company M&L endeavors and securing new business opportunities to strengthen Ypsilon current leading kids and family portfolio in Iberia. She reports to Roberto Mitrani, CEO of the company.

Gemma holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration by the Universidad de Barcelona and by the Staffordshire University. She brings almost 15 years experience in the Licensing business and brand management. She previously worked at Planeta Junior with a long tenure where she managed major brands and properties from Dreamworks, Sesame Street, Studio 100, Giochi Preziosi, Mondo TV, Rainbow, The Jim Henson Company, Zodiak, Cyber Group, among others.

Ypsilon Licensing is a subsidiary of Ypsilon Films and Grupo Multitrade. Ypsilon Films, a Barcelona based entertainment firm operating in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, is currently a leading distribution company of major international brands and customised content for television in Spain and Portugal. Grupo Multitrade, a Barcelona based family owned company established in 1953, is now a group of companies involved in various fields targeting services, entertainment and industry manufacturing with a distribution network in The United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
