Director of Operations at Mojang AB (Minecraft maker), Vu Bui, will be a keynote speaker on October 8 at Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), which will be held October 7-9 in London.

Vu Bui will participate in the Licensing Academy, which this year will count on experts and industry leaders who will give their advice, presented studies, facts and figures about the market, and where high-level discussions will be organized in order to provide attendees with a broader overview of the licensing business. Mojang AB directive will discuss the unstoppable rise of his company thanks to the creation of the video game Minecraft, a phenomenon in the industry with over 33 million users.

Just this week, Microsoft announced that it has purchased the Swedish company Mojang for 2,500 million dollars. The video game, which has 100 million downloads since its launch in 2009 and which is object of different toys and licensed products, will continue to be available through PC, iOS, Android, Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
