The
Licensing Forum, to be held on June 20 at the World Trade Center in Barcelona, has confirmed its first exhibitors, including three first-time companies: Mattel Brands, which will bring to the event properties such as
Barbie, Hot Wheels and one of the star brands of the year,
Monster High; the licensing agency Nottingham Forest, which manages properties such as
Mouk and
Champions, and the consulting firm Advance Licensing, which conducts market research on the licensing business in Spain.
The sixth edition of this event will also feature Biplano licensing agency, which manages the property rights of
Penguins of Madagascar and
Fanboy and Chumchum, among many others; Mendía Licensing, which will bring to the event
Asterix and Obelix, among other brands; the Hong Kong international Licensing Show, and LIMA Iberia, Spain and Portugal representative of this international association of licensing professionals. This association cooperates officially with this event.
The forum has the same exhibition area as last year, so booths are limited. The organization hopes to equal the number of firms reached in 2011, 18, and exceed the number of visitors, which were 220. Last year show recorded the best attendance figures in the history of the forum.
Registration is also open for attendees.
The Licensing Forum is organized by the magazine
Licencias Actualidad, published by Ediciones Just, also in charge of
Key4Communications. The organization is closing the conference programme that will be held during the event and that will complement the private presentations prepared by each of the exhibitors.
