New The Jungle Book film to be released in 2014
DQ Entertainment produces this feature film

DQ Entertainment has created a feature film division that plans to launch several titles based on known and iconic characters and stories. The first release, scheduled for 2014, is an animated production based on the Rudyard Kipling's classic
The Jungle Book. The film has a budget of $45 million and will be launched in 3D.
The company has signed the screenwriter Billy Frolick
(Madagascar, Holy Cow), and co-directors Jun Falkenstein
(The Smurfs, Despicable me) and Kevin Johnson
(Alvin and the Chipmunks, Astro Boy, Stuart Little).
Pre and post production will take place in Los Angeles, while production will be done in the company headquarters, in Hyderabad, India.
DQ Entertainment has already made a TV series based on The Jungle Book with 52 episodes of 11 minutes each and with a
licensing programme managed by Planeta Junior Italy in Italy, Switzerland, Malt and Cyprus, and by CPLG in Spain.
