The Licensing Forum, centre of ideas and opportunities for the industry
The 7th Licensing Forum will be held on 12 September in Ifema, the Trade Fair Institution of Madrid, after holding its two last shows in Barcelona. The goal is to organize the event in parallel with Intergift - a gift trade event also addressed to licensing professionals that will take place from 11-15 September also in Ifema. This will make even easier for all Iberian licensing professionals to gather information and knowledge about the main trends in the Spanish and Portuguese licensing markets.
The Licensing Forum will offer an exhibition area, where agents and licensors will introduce their main properties and licensing programmes, as well as a series of conferences, including not only the exhibitors presentations, but also talks and conferences about ideas and business trends. The organization is also preparing new events and areas, with the goal of providing even more business opportunities to all the industry professionals.
The event is organized by the magazine Licencias Actualidad with the support of the International Licensing Industry Merchandiser’s Association (LIMA), and reaches its seventh year, thus confirming its status as a fundamental tool for decision makers and key players in a changing and dynamic business. This magazine is published by Ediciones Just, official representative of LIMA in Iberia.
Last year, the Licensing Forum gathered more than 150 professionals representing 84 companies. The event counted with the presence of 16 exhibitors, four of them attending the show for the first time: Advance Licensing, a consulting firm in the licensing industry; Mattel Brands, Mondo TV Consumer Products, and the licensing agency Nottingham Forest. The rest of exhibitors were well-known names in the history of the Forum and in the European licensing business: Arait Multimedia, Biplano, CPLG, El Ocho Promociones y Licencias, Edebé Audiovisual Licensing, Hong Kong Licensing Show – HKTDC, LIMA Iberia, Luk Internacional, Mendía Licensing, Planeta Junior, and Toro de Osborne.
About Licencias Actualidad and the Licensing Forum
Licencias Actualidad is a quarterly magazine about the licensing industry in Spain and Portugal, established in 1998. The magazine also organizes the Licensing Forum, with a seventh edition to be held on September 12 at Ifema, Madrid, bringing together leading companies and industry professionals.
The magazine is published by Ediciones Just, a company that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012 and also publisher of the B2B magazines Juguetes B2B and Puericultura Market, as well as Key4Communications, a website with information on these three industries.
