The three winners of the new Best New Toy Awards of 2012 in the category of App Toys were App Gear, by Character Options; Moshi App Monster, by Vivid Toy Group, and Tardis Smart Safe, by Zeon.

The 32 toy awards winner were announced during the first day of the London's Toy Fair, held between 24-26 January in the Olympia's Grand Hall.

Hornby Hobbies received three awards, while Character Options, Flair, Lego, Tomy Europe and Vivid Group received two each.

Fourteen of the awards were for licensed toys, including popular properties in the UK such as Ben 10, Doctor Who, Fireman Sam, Hello Kity, Mike the Knight, and Moshi Monsters.
