Juvenile products company Chicco will start manufacturing toiletries and nursing products in India, to serve both domestic and global markets, according to The Economic Times.

The Italian company is looking for a local partner to jointly set up a factory in a country with a huge potential, as 19% of the world's babies are born there, explains Chicco India CEO Vineeth Nair.

The company also aims to reduce costs of toiletries and nursing products, that contribute more than half of Chicco's business in India, although prices are considerably lower in this country.
