A tradition in the annual buying cycle, American International Toy Fair is the largest and most important toy and youth product exhibition in the Western Hemisphere. Taking place from Sunday, 10 February to Wednesday, 13 February 2013 in New York City, the 110th American Toy Fair connects manufacturers, importers and distributors with more than 10,000 retailers from over 100 countries.
Owned and managed by the US Toy Industry Association (TIA), Toy Fair sits at the heart of the $21 billion US toy market. The show boasts more than 1,100 exhibiting companies from around the world and more than 150,000 products – including an estimated 7.000 brand new toys debuting at Toy Fair every year.
The show also offers a robust educational program that provides industry stakeholders with a deeper understanding of topics ranging from licensing to technology; toy safety, environmental and social responsibility issues; business development and global trade opportunities; and other subjects that will help them grow their businesses, including the Digital Kids Conference, organized by TIA and the media company Engage Digital.
The show will also host the 2013 Toy of the Year Awards (TOTY). Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on Saturday, February 9, 2013 as the kick-off to the Fair.
