Chinese exports have increased by 15.3% this May compared to the same period of 2011. The increase, more than double the expected, is explained by the increased sales in the U.S. and the euro zone. In the same way, the industrial production and retail sales of the Asian country also continued to increase, although in this case the rise was less than 10%.
Thus, according to data released this weekend by the Chinese institutions, the current economic situation in the Eurozone is not affecting the global trade nor the exports of the second world economy.
