Namco Bandai benefits grew by 71.7%
The company expects its annual earnings to increase by 26.9%

Namco Bandai has closed the third quarter of its fiscal year with an increase in profits of 71.7%. On December 31 the company accounts reflected net earnings of $303 million and revenues of $3.8 billion, 8.4% more than the same period last year.
For the full year, ending March 31, the company is confident that sales will grow by 1.3% to $5 billion, with a profit of $265 million, 26.9% more than in the previous year.
Video games that have stood out for their sales have been Tekken Tag Tournament 2, with 1.35 million copies sold in three months, followed by Soul Calibur 5 (870,000), Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Generations (660,000) and Tales of Xillia 2 (500,000).
