Nickelodeon signs deals for its newest properties

The network will launch next year a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series


Nickelodeon has introduced at Licensing International Expo licensing programs for its four most recent features: Victorious, Umizoomi Team, Winx Club and the new series of Ninja Turtles.

Thus, the television network has reached agreements to launch more than 250 licensed products with the Victorious brand, including clothing, accessories, entertainment and educational materials, aimed at children and teenagers. The campaign will be carried out at Walmart stores in the US and Canada, during the back-to-school campaign.

As for Winx Club, Nickelodeon has appointed Jakks Pacific as master toy licensee. The company will launch its products in the fall of 2012.

The first Team Umizoomi licensing campaign is expected to include math kits for preschoolers starting this summer.

As for the relaunch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, scheduled for 2012, Nickelodeon will release toys based on the characters, and manufactured by Playmates Toys.
