Nintendo cuts down the price of its 3DS console after the fall in sales
The company has revised downward its forecast of annual results

Nintendo has decided to lower by 40% in price of its Nintendo 3DS, after announcing losses of 25.5 billion yen ($327 million) in the first three months of its fiscal year. Revenue fell further by 50.2% to 93.9 million yen ($1.2 billion) and has revised downwards its revenue forecasts for the full year by 18%, and its profits expectations by 82%.
The company has sold 710,000 units of the console between April and June, making a total of 4.32 million, below expectations. Nintendo remains anyway the end of the year target: 16 million machines sold.
