Skylanders has sold more action figures than any other brand in 2013
The franchise has reached $1.5 billion in sales

The Skylanders action figures are the most sold in the first six months of 2013, both in Europe and in the United States, according to Activision. The brand that combines video games and figures also exceeded $1.5 billion in revenue, and its latest release, Skylanders Giants, has been the best selling game for consoles and handheld devices as of July 31.
The company will release a new title in the series, Skylanders Swap Force, in autumn this year.
