Super RTL will take Bugsted to screens in Germany

The TV firm will also manage the licensing rights in the territory

The German TV channel Super RTL has signed an agreement with Vodka to acquire the broadcast rights of Bugsted in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This multiplatform project is aimed at 8-12 years-old kids and consists of a mini TV series (13x1), a platform game for iPhone, iPad and Android, and brand collectible toys.

Super RTL, the leading TV channel for 3 to 13 years-old kids in Germany, shall also act as licensing agent of the brand in this region and will support the launch of the brand with an extensive marketing campaign across all platforms.

The brand already has Simba as master toy for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The marketing of toys will take place simultaneously with the premiere of the series and the game's release in September 2013.
