The Licensing Forum confirms participants in round table about retail
The event will feature professionals from Fnac, Viacom, CPLG, Panini and the NPD Group

The seventh edition of the Licensing Forum has already confirmed the names of the professionals who will participate in the round table about the growing power of retail, to be held September 12 at Ifema. These industry heavyweights will discuss the weight and influence of retailers in the licensing business, and will expose ideas about how to address the relationship between distributors and other industry players.
The discussion will cover topics such as programs for retailers, the information they receive and require from licensors and agents, and the figure of the preferred supplier, in which retailers can propose or impose specific licensees.
This roundtable will count with:
- José Manuel Cuesta, Director, Fnac Majadahonda.
- Jose María Cendra, General Director, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products.
- Pau Pascual, Director, Copyright Promotions Europe Group Iberia.
- Lluís Torrent, General Director, Panini Iberia.
- Fernando Pérez, Director, NPD Group Spain.
The organization of the event, the trade magazine Licencias Actualidad, will confirm shortly the presence of another retail professional.
The main licensing event in Iberia
The Licensing Forum will hold its seventh edition on September 12 at Ifema, in parallel with Intergift. The event will feature ten exhibitors with their own booth: Biplano Licensing, Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, El Ocho Licencias y Promociones, Fremantle Media, Hong Kong Licensing Show, LIMA Iberia, International Luk, Mattel Brands, Planeta Junior, and Selecta Visión.
Three other companies will also participate using the new meeting spaces: Arait Multimedia, Imira Entertainment, and Mendía Licensing.
The forum has the support of LIMA, the international organization of licensing professionals, and, in fact, members of the association will have a 10% discount. Also, Kid's Cluster members will also benefit from a 5% discount.
