Turner trusts in children's brands growth

Cartoonito, present at Licensing Expo for the first time


Turner CN Enterprises has made its debut at Licensing Expo, held 12-14 June in Las Vegas, under the banner of its preschool channel brand Cartoonito.

Home to Turner’s world-class line-up of preschool content and brands, Cartoonito is viewed in all the EMEA region, after its launch in the UK in 2007. The channel reaches 136 million households in 112 territories with UK, Spain and Italy as its main markets.

The company brings to Las Vegas its best known brands, such as LazyTown, series with a third season of 13 half hour episodes that will air across Europe in Q1 2013.  A renewed style guide is being developed and the first licensed product lines based on the new LazyTown series will launch at retail in Q4 2013.

Turner’s third party preschool brands will also be strongly represented at the show, including Endemol’s Bananas in Pyjamas, as well as Ha Ha Hairies, from Welsh indie Adastra Creative, and Vodka Capital’s Jelly Jamm, whose strong broadcast ratings are attracting major partners like Bandai (on board as the master toy licensee for EMEA and the USA) and Sony, who will be publishing the music from the show.
