Ubisoft returns to profits
The company closed the year with a 2% increase in sales

Ubisoft sales rose 2% in the fiscal year ended March 31, reaching €1.06 billion euros, thanks to the performance of Just Dance, Assassin's Creed and the improvement of the online and digital business. The income of the latter category rose 110.8% to €80 million. Net profit was of €37.3 million, compared to losses of €52.1 million the previous year.
The company expects to improve sales during the 2012-2013 exercise up to €1.16 - 1.2 billion. According to the company's CEO, Yves Guillemot, "our efforts to constantly enhance the quality of our games, combined with the investments we have made in the fast growing Free-to-Play segment should result in a strong topline and profitability growth for our core gamers titles and for our online segment”.
