Universal could move forward Ouija movie with 5% of the previous budget | Key4Communications | News

Universal has finally decided to produce a film about Ouija. The project is part of an agreement with Hasbro that was cancelled but is now recovered because of the indemnification clause of the agreement between both companies.

For each film not produced, Universal would have to pay five million dollars to Hasbro, so the distributor has decided to carry out the project with a budget of precisely five million dollars, hoping to get at least some return.

Previous budget was of $100 million, so the movie will probably follow the style of Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch Project .
