Arait Multimedia launches Inazuma Eleven in France

This manga series is based in a Nintendo video game


Madrid-based licensing agent Arait Multimedia has announced that its animated series Inazuma Eleven has been acquired by Lagardere Active Group to debut on Gulli television channel in December 2011. Arait has also appointed Viz Media Europe as the exclusive licensing agent for the property in France.
Jean-René Aucouturier, VP Licensing & New Business at Lagardere TV, explained that the company aims “at building a long term strategy with Viz and Arait to create a cross-media plan, using all media that we manage (press, TV, web, replay, entertainment centers…)”

This manga series is based on a videogame developed by the Japanese company Level 5 (also creator of Professor Layton) and distributed by Nintendo. In Europe, the TV series is currently broadcast in France (Disney XD), Spain (Boing and Disney XD), Italy (RAI 2 and Disney XD), Portugal (Panda), Benelux (Disney XD), U.K (Disney XD).

Pan European deals have already been signed with Panini (stickers-albums) and Upperdeck (collectible cards).
