Planeta Junior adds another animation classic revision to its portfolio: the Italian branch of the company has been appointed as the licensing and merchandising agent for The Jungle Book in Italy,  Italian speaking Switzerland, Malta, Greece and Cyprus.

This 3D animmated series has 52 episodes of 11 minutes each, and has already been broadcasted it Italian TV Rai Due. The show produced by the Indian animation company DQ Entertainment is addressed to children between 6 and 9. Licensing programme will include partners in several categories including toys, apparel, back-to-school, gifts and stationery. Distribution should begin in 2012.
