Jakks Pacific will buy sports and outdoor toys manufacturer | Key4Communications |

Jakks Pacific Inc. will acquire Hong Kong-based Moose Mountain Toymakers, a 15-year-old manufacturer of sports arcade products, foot to floor ride-ons, tents, safe soft play environments, arcade pinball games and wagons.

According to Jakks, this company's product lines are complementary to its own product portfolio. The toy maker expects to expand into new product categories thanks to this operation.

The transaction should be closed by the third quarter of 2011.
