Leapfrog hires John Barbour as CEO
Barbour has 25 years of expertise in the toy market

John Barbour has been appointed CEO for the manufacturer of educational toys Leapfrog Enterprises. Barbour steps up in former CEO's place, Bill Chiasson, who will act as president and who has praised his successor's 25 years of expertise in traditional and online markets.
Barbour is responsible of the launching of Toys 'R' Us online business, as well as former president of Gamehouse, the videogames division of RealNetworks.

Leapfrog suffered last year a slowdown in demand that caused an increase in inventories. Because of this situation the company expects a challenging 2011. Nevertheless and under Chiasson’s management, Leapfrog achieved profits for the first time in the last five years.
