Leapfrog publishes ABC Garden application for Iphone and Ipod Touch. This is the firm's first venture onto this field, and is undertaken although the electronic toy maker has its own kids' version of the iPad, the LeapPad. The company explains that Scout’s ABC Garden incorporates features which have made the firm a leader in the learning space, and develops an experience based on the child’s name, favourite food, favourite colour and favourite animal. It is designed to encourage children to explore letter names and sounds step by step.
