Producers are looking for actors

After much hesitation, the film based on Ouija is underway. Hasbro and Universal decided to move forward this project more than a year ago, after having cut the budget in order to make a movie in the line of Paranormal Activity.
As reported in Acting Auditions, Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes (Michael Bay's production company) are looking for a cast to interpret the teens who try to contact a dead classmate.
Stiles White, writer of films such as The Possession and Knowing, will direct and write the movie, which will be produced by Jason Blum, also producer of Paranormal Activity.
Although the origin of the ouija board dates from the late nineteenth century, Parker Brothers acquired the rights to the patent in 1966, and Hasbro bought this company in 1991. The game is based on the ideomotor effect, in which subjects perform movements unconsciously.
