The problem is to do nothing

"We need innovation and movement, both are an essential part of our business"

04/03/2016

Never is too late to straighten our business towards success. To achieve this, first is not to rest doing anything. In this article, Victor Valencia, Manager of Environment & Strategy and management expert point of sale, mentioned the most important ideas when unclog a business: "Innovation and movement are an essential part".

When I meet with retailers of this and other sectors, they always ask me the famous "what can we do?" To this question, instead of giving evasive I propose concrete actions and success that can be put up at no cost, all of them very viable and notoriety, aligned with what customers like (up here all right).

Change of attitude

Sometimes I happen to retailers or I contact them to know about its evolution and ask them about it. Then I am who asks, "what about what we discussed, how it worked?" and I find an answer that unfortunately I’m used to: "We have not done anything we discussed".

This aspect is called attitude. But many cases, the market is not the problem, not even competition, is the attitude. We all know, since the postulates of physics, that to transform something through movement or to change it from one state to another we have to apply force or energy. We also know that if we apply both at the same time, the process will be accelerated.

A life ahead

In this sense, expecting for a baby is like to have a page in blank. They are a project of a new life. All parents need help to begin with this new project. For this reason, it is essential that childcare businesses are its referent of ideas: if professionals know how to play their cards, they will be able to work during their entire career on that prospect.

Businesses that move (innovate) have no problems, innovation is the closest thing there is to a baby, it's a new life, different from all, it is a project. Therefore, we need innovation and movement, both are an essential part of our business and at the end, or you move, or worse, you move.
