Children's Fashion Cologne (CFC) closed its second show with over 151 exhibitors, in representation of 260 brands, and 1,300 visitors, a 30% increase versus six months ago. The fair, held between 30 January and 1 February, gathered firms from 17 countries including Esprit Maternity, the Kid's Fashion Group, Levi's Kidswear, Pepe Jeans London and Sanetta, meeting with the expectations of the organizers.
"The Children's Fashion Cologne offers the children's fashion world a forum twice a year, which enables efficient business and targeted ordering at international level," summed up Katharina C. Hamma, Chief Operating Officer of Koelnmesse. "We have been able to establish Children's Fashion Cologne as the central and high-quality platform for children's fashion. Such a platform had been missing in Central Europe until now."
Specialised supporting programme
The fair also offered fashion shows organised by the Luna magazine, as well as a supporting programme for the specialised trade, including conferences by the experts of the IFH Institute for Market Research, who talked of issues such as e-commerce and sustainability. Furthermore, the coaching programme "Pimp my shop" offered small and medium-sized specialised retailers the opportunity to have their own store concept checked out by professionals from the shop-building and sales promotion sectors.
