The Kind + Jugend babycare products trade show, held in Köln until September 14 and with over 1.000 registered exhibitors, announced yesterday the winners of the Innovation Award. Safety, functionality and design are the most important purchasing decision criteria in the baby and toddler outfitting business. Based on these criteria, the renowned and international jury comprising of representatives from the trade, TÜV (technical authorities) and media, and in which the publisher of Puericultura Market, Emili Alsina, also participated, announced the winner companies in the following eight categories:

- World of Baby Textiles, Clothing and Accessories category: Shoeps elastic laces by Miyali

- World of Baby Care category: Aquanest baby bath by Babymoov

- World of Baby Furniture category: Pili Mat by BabyToLove

This year, Kind + Jugend has set up new social media channels. A new blog, as well as a Facebook page and a Twitter channel with all relevant information from the industry and on the most important specialist trade fair of the year. Last year, the show gathered 1,014 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors from 110 countries.
