Sonae brand has signed a franchise agreement which plans to open about 20 stores in the country over the next five years

Sonae, company specialized in the field of childcare, has decided to expand its market in Asia with the opening of its first two Zippy stores in Philippines. The company has signed a franchise agreement providing for the opening of about 20 stores in the country over the next five years.
Trimark Holdings, which operates more than 600 stores in the country with more than 40 international brands, will held Zippy entry in Philippines. The first flagship stores childcare, located in Glorietta shopping malls and North Edsa also have an average area of 100 square meters and offer a range of products including clothing, footwear and accessories for babies and children. "This agreement is part of the global expansion strategy of Sonae, which seeks to leverage the competitive advantages of its global brands, diversifying markets and enhancing new opportunities for development," said Miguel Mota Freitas, CEO of Sonae SR.
Also, with a population of nearly 100 million people, the Philippines is the seventh most populous country in Asia and the twelfth in the world. In addition, more than a third of the population is in the age group between 0 and 14, the target audience of Zippy. "Asia is a very populated region, with high birth rates and high economic dynamism, where consumers are paying increasing attention to quality products, opening new opportunities for Zippy, as now in the Philippines," added Mota.
