79% of e-commerce expected to grow in 2016
13% say not adapting its mobile web has had negative consequences

79% of Spanish e-commerce remain optimistic about the increase in sales in 2016, according to the third annual study ‘Análisis y perspectivas en e-commerce ', conducted by the magazine Kanlli and D/A Retail in collaboration with the Institute of Economics and Digital ICEMF and with Ecommerce Club.
The most optimistic sectors are Beauty, Fashion and Accessories, as well as marketplaces. In this regard, 51% of them expected to average ticket will increase. Only 2% of respondents predict a decline in online sales. If we look at the forecasts of international expansion, 57% of respondents are looking to expand its business to other countries this 2016. Moreover, 36% said they intend to expand to more than one country during the year.
Regarding to the mobile web, 62% of e-commerce participants claimed to have already adapted their mobile web, compared to 23% who admitted not having adapted yet, but plan to do. 13% of participants say not adapting its mobile web has had negative consequences. This time, the percentage of e-commerce has no intention of adapting your website to mobile falls to 2%, compared to 4.9% who stated not having planned for 2015.
