Carrefour is growing internationally
The franchise expands to Asia and Africa

Carrefour has announced the launch of two new stores, one in China and the other in Tunisia. China has opened a hypermarket of 6,900 square meters in the city of Wuhu in Anhui Province, east of the country. This outlet has 26 checkouts and parking for 1,000 vehicles.
For its part, the franchisor of Carrefour partner in Tunisia, UHD Group, has opened a supermarket, with the ensign Carrefour Market, 1,100 square meters in the capital of the North African country. Currently, UHD has 82 stores in Tunisia, three hypermarkets, 43 Carrefour Market, Carrefour Express 34 and two cash & carry.
Carrefour expanded its horizons last year with the opening of a hypermarket of 5,000 square meters, located in Yerevan, Armenia.
