Imaginarium, a chain specialized in the toy sector, has launched a new store format with which to convert their spaces into workshops so that the little ones can enjoy a more social, real and sensorial game. Thus, as the company points out, the new spaces are multi-sensorial, a fact that allows children to test the products that will be distributed throughout the store. This new concept comes hand in hand with a change in the organization of the store, which will come sorted by vital moments of play, instead of by age: Welcome to the World, Imagine, Express, Move, Discover, Surprise and Great Moments.
In the coming months, Imaginarium will renew its stores, both in Spain and abroad; although of the 141 centers that the toy store has in Spain, six already respond to this new format. Moreover, this transformation also coincides with the change in the company logo.
"We have created a concept that is a workshop, where children can explore the articles, we call it an experience shop," says Felix Alejandro Tena, General Director of Imaginarium. He added that "in stores already opened with this new format sales have grown double-digit during the last three months."
