The brand extension company The Licensing Company (TLC) decided to strengthen its presence in the Iberian market. Bruno Tessier joins TLC team and will be in charge of developing the business in this geographic area.
With this decision, TLC consolidates its desire to launch its brand portfolio through licensing into this market and focus efforts on retail. Bruno Tessier has a long experience in the sector, as he was at the head of the Biplano Licensing's commercial department for 18 years. Tessier will develop, enhance and increase the multinational's licensing programs in different categories such as fashion, food, entertainment, household linen, garment and accessories.
The Licensing Company was established in 1996 and has 18 offices worldwide. It represents a portfolio of international brands such as Jeep, Coca-Cola and Mercedes-Benz. In 2013 it generated $8.3 billion retail sales and sold products in more than 100 countries.
Since 2010 TLC has been part of the joint venture Iconix Europe. In 2014 the company was acquired by the multinational Global Brands Group, belonging to Li & Fung.
