Turner will manage without the mediation agent its licensing business in Spain

The decision fits in a global strategy to strengthen its licensing division

12/05/2015

Turner Broadcasting System International announced that from now its licensing business in Spain will be managed directly by the company, without the mediation agent. This decision fits in a global strategy whose objective is to strengthen its licensing division. That’s what announced Turner’s licensing director in Spain and Portugal, Mar Romera: “with this change we pretend to implement the support to the licensees who trust in our brands through the direct contact with them and their needs.”

Currently, Turner’s properties, like Adventure Time, Gumabll and Regular Show, are established in Spain and Portugal thanks to the exposition that are giving them Boing and Cartoon Network, which ranks second in the Portuguese Children's Hearings system. Furthermore, at this time, the company works in 37 languages in more than 200 countries with more than 160 channels and 35 brands, like CNN, TNT and TCM in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
