Daniel Pein is the new Sales Director of Spielwarenmesse
He will be in charge of the new sales division of the organization

Daniel Pein is the new global Sales Director of Spielwarenmesse, and he will be in charge of supervising the sales network of the company, which is represented in 96 countries by 64 representatives and subsidiaries in Shanghai and Istanbul.
At the beginning of 2014 the international trade fair and marketing provider is thus creating its own sales division as Ernst Kick, CEO, Spielwarenmesse explains: “We reviewed our sales structures in the light of Spielwarenmesse’s growing international focus, and have decided to set up our own sales division to work the market more efficiently. We are delighted to have Daniel Pein, an experienced show organiser, join our team.”
Daniel Pein has worked in the trade fair business for over 20 years. His duties included sales and marketing planning, while specialising in the development and marketing of new products and setting up sales structures. The 46-year old has worked for Blenheim International Deutschland, K+S München, Easyfairs, GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen, Clarion Events and Messe Essen. He also managed the Head Office of the General Association of the Promotional Products Industry from the middle of 1993 to the end of 1997, and gained experience as a freelancer in an agency working for the trade fair industry.
During this period he and his partners launched the first baby fair on the German market. As of 1999 he introduced twelve new show events in Germany and Europe within a decade. Pein gained extensive knowledge of the industry in his organisation of around 90 trade fairs and congresses. He will draw on this experience in his work for Spielwarenmesse, Kids India, Toyzeria and Toys & Kids Russia and the World of Toys international show programme.
