The Finland´s store will open in November 2015 on the department store’s sixth floor Björn Teir, director of Real Estate at Stockmann, commented: “We are very proud to introduce Hamleys to our customers. Hamleys is a legend in its field and the new store and unique concept will bring new experiences and fun for both children and their parents.”
The store, in the centre of Prague, will cover 6,130 square metres – larger than the Hamleys Regent Street store which spans 4,500 square metres. Lordship and Immofinanz AG are the project investors. Lordship head Vaclav Matousek commented: “For Prague it will mean not only an influx of tourists but also a notable rise of prestige of the main pedestrian precinct in the centre of the city.”
