Hasbro wins 9% more in 2015 due to Star Wars toy sales

The north American toy company Hasbro obtained a net benefit of 451,8 million dollar in 2015, what supposes 9% more than in the previous exercise, thanks to the sales related to Star Wars and Jurassic World toys. Hasbro’s invoicing in the total year grew 4%, when invoiced 4.448 million dollar, compared to the 4.277 million of 2014, according to a report from the company.
In terms of categories sales, invoicing loss 22% in the Girls arm, meanwhile in the arm Boys it grew 20%, figure which Hasbro relates with the success of properties such as Star Wars, Jurassic World and Marvel. Meanwhile, the Preschooler category increased 17% its invoicing in the total year, and Games rose its sales 1% compared to the previous year.
The toy company obtained a net benefit of 157,7 million dollar in the last trimester, what supposes 3% more than the same period of the last year. Moreover, between October and December, Hasbro’s trade figure grew 13% when invoiced 1,465 million dollar, compared to the 1.298 million dollar in the last trimester of 2014.
