Speakers announced for Digital Kids Conference at Toy Fair

Engage Digital has announced that more than 20 expert speakers will provide their tips and strategies for creating best-selling digital toys, games and media services at the 8th Annual Digital Kids Conference, taking place February 18-19, 2014 alongside the 111th American International Toy Fair.
Event organizers have confirmed that Todd Yellin, vice president of product innovation at Netflix, will deliver the second-day keynote address. Speaking on the morning of Wednesday, February 19th, Yellin will talk about “Content That’s Over-the-Top” (OTT), sharing how streaming devices such as smart TVs, tablets, smart phones, gaming consoles and set top boxes have redefined how kids consume video entertainment.
Other speakers and topics confirmed for the two-day conference include:
- Reinventing a Heritage Brand for Young Digital Consumers, presented by Tony Bordon, head of digital media at Lionel Trains.
- Personalized Play: Making Kids the Star of the Show, presented by Gregg Spiridellis, co-founder and CEO of JibJab Media and StoryBots
- “Digital Kids” Live on Stage!, with the participation of children and moderated by Renee Weber, VP of consumer strategy research at The Marketing Store.
- Digital Family Entertainment, presented by Miles Ludwig, managing director, content innovation lab, Sesame Workshop (additional speakers to be announced).
Toy Fair 2014 will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from Sunday, February 16 to Wednesday, February 19; the Digital Kids Conference will overlap with Toy Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18-19.
