History

In 1962, Joan B. Just, co-owner of the toy company Munte Abelló, a manufacturer of latex figures, established Juegos y Juguetes de España (Toys and Games from Spain), the B2B Spanish toy magazine. The first number was launched along with the first edition of the Valencia Toy Fair.

The magazine has played since then a dynamic role within the toy landscape of our country.

The publication, currently Juguetes B2B, became one of the main drivers of the creation in 1967 of the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers (AEFJ), and also opened successfully a window into foreign markets by organizing the first international travels to trade shows in Nuremberg, Lyon and Japan, among others.

After this publication and thanks to the work of Maria Dolores Just, daughter of the firm's founder, Ediciones Just launched in 1992 Puericultura Market, a magazine devoted to juvenile products and childcare items.

In 1998, also thanks to Maria Dolores and Emili Alsina Just Just, current manager of the company, Ediciones Just launched a new magazine, Licencias Actualidad, focused on the licensing business. This sector is very close to the toy industry, given the importance of licensing and product marketing strategy in this field.

In 2011, Ediciones Just started a new project, Key4Communications, the new B2B communication online platform for professionals from the three businesses: toys, baby care and licensing, covering not only in the Spanish territory but also other markets where these activities are present.

Key4Communications continues the business philosophy and values that have made Ediciones Just a leader in professional communication in Spain and Portugal during the last 50 years.

Core business
The core business of the company is focused on B2B communication in the toy, child care and licensing sectors.

The distribution of publications is done reaching all operators in the three sectors. This diffusion is controlled and audited since 1992 by OJD, the main Spanish controller of press distribution.

Company mission
The mission of the company in the domestic market is to strengthen its position as the leading news channel in the three sectors to which it is addressed, covering the needs of communication and information of readers and advertisers.

The company aims to create added value for the three businesses to which it is addressed, including advertisers, readers and also members of its team.

Differential values of Ediciones Just media, are its long history and expertise in the three fields, the high level of quality in contents, and its high credibility, its independence and its accuracy, according to readers and after a survey conducted in the first quarter of 2010.

Ediciones Just team and media are present at major trade shows of the toy, licensing and childcare industries, in order to cover all key events and provide added value to the communication campaigns of all advertising clients, as well as a wider expansions and awareness of the company's platforms.
