Hasbro joins the Licensing Forum

The firm will exhibit at the event, to take place at Barcelona on July 2nd

Hasbro will exhibit at the Licensing Forum, set to take place on July 2nd at the Barcelona World Trade Center. The American toy maker, established in 1923, counts with properties such as Transformers, with a new movie to be released this summer, Furby , and My Little Pony, among other 1,500 brands also including Monopoly y Nerf.

The firm has about 5,500 employees and operates in 40 countries. Its history includes the first toy announced on TV (Mr. Potato Head, in 1952) and with launch of the first action figures (G.I. Joe, in 1964). In 2013 the company recorded sales for more than $4 billion, with a net profit of $286.2 million.

Hasbro is the 13th exhibitor at the Licensing Forum. The event will also enjoy the presence of the following firms:

- Arait Multimedia, that counts in its portfolio with Inazuma Eleven Go!

- Biplano Licensing, in charge of Hello Kitty, Betty Boop and Chupa Chups, among other brands.

- Consumer Product Connection, recently created agency with Pou, Lucky Fred and Kumis among its properties.

- CPLG,
responsible of the licensing programs for the Minions, The Simpson, and Skylanders.

- El Ocho Licencias y Promociones, firm in charge of the licensing actions of Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, and Masterchef.

- Hong Kong Licensing Show - HKTDC.

- LIMA Iberia, official representative in the region of the Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association.

- Luk Internacional, firm developing the licensing programs of Doraemon and Once Upon a Zombie.

- Mattel Brands, toy maker, licensor of brands such as Monster High, Barbie, and Max Steel.

- Planeta Junior, firm in charge of the licensing for Dreamworks Animation, Maya the Bee, and Mia and Me.

- Promarca, Mexican licensing association, organizer of Expo Licencias y Marcas (México, 21 and 22 October).

- Selecta Visión, that heads the licensing actions of Dinosaur Train and La CQ.
