Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba billed 76.959 million yuan (10.723 million euros) in the first nine months of its fiscal year (March-December 2015), which means a rise of 30.9% over the same period last year.

Similarly, the company net profit has tripled (+ 209.3% yoy), up to 66.095 million yuan (9.206 million euros), driven by promotions in November and December, especially for the traditional 'Day Singles'.

In the third quarter of fiscal year Alibaba, turnover has increased by 32% to 34.543 million yuan (4,812 million euros), while net profit increased 111% year on year to 12.498 million yuan (1.741 million euros).
