The Yo-Kai Watch phenomenon to reach Spain

The TV series to hit our screens acompained by a toys line and a videogame

The animation TV series Yo-Kai Watch will reach screens of Spanish homes next may 9th 2016, exclusively in BOING, channel from Mediaset España. Thought for a target of boys and girls from 6 to 11, the TV series is a combination of originality and humor which provides their audience with values such as imagination, friendship and creativity. In that sense, Pascal J. Bonet, commercial director of Sales TV and licenses from VIZ Media Europe, company which owns the property, assures that “Yo-Kai Watch will become in the future phenomenon for Back to School’s campaign, thanks to the support of Spanish Partners, all of them leading their sectors”.
 

Apart from the TV launching, the franchise Yo-Kai Watch, in Spain, is supported by another to fundamental shafts: the videogames saga for Nintendo 3DS and the toy line which will be distributed by Hasbro. According to the videogame series, launched in Japan in 2013 by the company Level-5 Inc., has already sold more than 10 million units, and forecasts to reach Spain next April 29th. Moreover, the toys and merchandising products of this franchise have generated more than 2 billion euros for the retailer channel in Japan. In our country, the toy line will be launched in June thanks to Hasbro and there are expected initial sales of 200.000 clocks and more than 1,5 million medals.
